Q. How do I get access to a landline?

A. Most people know a friend, relative or neighbour who already has a landline. This friend, relative or neighbour would then have to request another telephone line installed, (by Telefonica for example) with a completely separate telephone number. This would be the line that you would access.

Q. What is the maximum distance between my house and my friend, relative or neighbour?

A. The maximum distance is 100KMS.

Q. What equipment is required to enable this to work?

A. All systems are supplied with a small base station which is located in your friend's home. A remote station which is located in your house/business premises. And a roof antenna at each location. The stations are quite small - approx. 10" x 10" x 3" and, as such, if needed, can be concealed quite easily.

Q. What other costs are involved after the initial cost of the equipment.

A. Ongoing costs are the same as a landline. This means you are able to use Telefonica's other low cost call plans, the same as any other landline user.

Q. When I order how long before I receive a system kit?

A. A D.I.Y. installation kit is available in 2-3 weeks. If you require installation by us then the total length of time is approximately 4 weeks.

Q. What is VOIP telephony?

It enables a computer or special telephone to nake and receive calls to other telephones or computers using the internet as the connection between the two.
